Move the Hawick Market to the High Street

Lets support out local traders and get the Hawick Market moved from the Haugh to the High Street.
The strongest suggestion is to have the Market from from the bottom of the Townhall to the Towerknowe.
Just think how the market traders would benefit and so would our local traders. Yes there may be some competition but if local Butcher Lindsay Grieve is happy to take it on then lets get behind our traders.
The Town will benefit and so will the traders - and there will be plenty of FREE car parking for all the visitors.
Sainsbury's are coming so lets do something to help our local traders before it is too late.
Hawick is truly a community town but we need to move forward if we are to remain and prosper.
The Town would benefit having the market along here and closing the road once a week.
